BCS Poles

Bloggers, DKing is back online to bring you’re the latest news in College Football. We got the years first BCS rankings to discuss. Also, there is the buckeyes triumphant victory over ranked Illinois, and we take a look at the big games this upcoming weekend.

The Bowl Championship Series is the system that college football has used to declare a national champion since 1998. It’s tradition that after each team plays in the conference games, the number one and number two teams in the country face off in the national championship game. Every year college football fans across the country enjoy when the first set of rankings appear. To start off the top three are listed as LSU, Alabama and Oklahoma respectively.
It wasn’t a surprise when those teams were announced Sunday night as the top teams in the national that are competing for their shot to travel to New Orleans in the national championship. But, there is still a lot of teams out there that have yet to be challenged as the top eight teams in the BCS are still undefeated.  To me, I believe that LSU #1 will play #3 Oklahoma in the national championship game, a rematch from a couple years ago when they played in the Fiesta Bowl in 2010.
The Buckeyes are back! They had a tremendous game against #15 Illinois, where freshman quarterback Braxton Miller led the buckeyes to a 17-10 win at Illinois. As Miller only threw four passes and completed one, that one completion was a touchdown that ended up deciding the victory. The Buckeyes look ahead to hosting #6 Wisconsin on October 29th.

Big games this week are #20 Auburn at #1 LSU.  #6 Wisconsin plays at #16 Michigan State and #4 Oklahoma State plays at Missouri. Thanks Bloggers, DKing out!
